Finally, I'm here in Scotland!

I am so relieved to be here! The trip didn't start out so well, with me being in a car accident right before my flight. And I didn't get to see my best friend at the airport. AND I went to the wrong accommodation area where I thought I would be temporarily living. I'm so glad that University of Glasgow arranged a pick-up service from the airport. I would have been SO lost.

Lucky for me, the night guard was super nice and helped me find a taxi to take me to Queen Margaret Residence. I checked in and got my keys. It was surreal, getting my keys to my room that's in a different country. Once I was there, lugging all two huge suitcases up the stairs was a pain. But now I'm in my room. AND IM SO TIRED. In my room, I found a little package from University of Glasgow. It had energy drinks, helpful tidbits and booklets, and snacks! I thought it was pretty thoughtful of them. I have a feeling the snacks won't last very long. I love my room. It's spacious and I have my own bathroom. YAY!

I don't think anyone has arrived yet... It took me awhile to find it, but I didn't know the flat included a full kitchen. The kitchen cupboards and fridge was empty and everything looked sparkly clean. O.O Being alone in a 5 bedroom flat is a bit scary.

I already miss home. :( It hasn't been a day and I already want to be back in sunny California. I wonder if this homesick feeling will pass soon.

Alrighty! Time to pass out. I will definitely explore and update later.
